||2 of 3 people found the following review helpful.| Solid|By A. Tribbett|The book is solid, informative and exhaustive. However, the structuring of chapters is often a little unwieldy and difficult to follow. With a slightly modified format, this book would be a lot easier to read.

The publication in 1962 of Lew Binford’s paper "Archaeology as Anthropology" is generally considered to mark the birth of processualism—a critical turning point in American archaeology.
